Continuing Airworthiness Engineer

Wanted!

We are seeking a safety conscious, skilled and detail-oriented Continuing Airworthiness Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of managing airworthiness, in a variety of environments - preferably for aircraft regulated under EASA as well as FAA.

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

CONTINUING AIRWORTHINESS

  • Control of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins
  • Issuing, revising, implementation and review of aircraft maintenance programs
  • Control of Original Equipment Manufacturer Documentation
  • Control of aircraft documentation
  • Control and updating of aircraft records
  • Communication with contracted maintenance providers
  • Preparation of maintenance workpackages, ensuring availability of staff, parts and tooling

SAFETY MANAGEMENT

  • Work together with your manager and the safety department to identify and report safety issues, and work with your team to resolve these

AMOS ADMINISTRATION

  • Administration and maintaining of aircraft maintenance software AMOS

TEAMWORK 

  • Collaborate with your team members and supervisors with excellent communication skills

That matter most for this role:

  • Preferred HTL or Bachelor degree in aircraft engineering
  • Basic knowledge of EASA continuing airworthiness regulations (Part-CAMO, Part-M and Part-ML)
  • Two years of hands-on experience in continuing airworthiness management within an EASA-regulated environment, preferably with fixed wing as well as rotor wing aircraft
  • Strong German and English skills, spoken and written
  • Strong computer skills and a willingness to engage with digital tools and systems
  • Accurate, detail-oriented, and conscientious, with strong teamwork skills
  • Able to independently and proactively identify solutions and complete tasks within the defined scope of work
  • Openness and commitment to continuous learning and professional development
