The Flying Bulls GmbH, the aviation subsidiary of Red Bull, has set itself the task of maintaining a unique and historic aircraft fleet and enabling its operation and continued existence in the future. This unique fleet is complemented by modern aircraft and helicopters.

To strengthen our technical team, we are looking for an Aircraft Sheet Metal Specialist (m/w/d) for the location Salzburg, Hangar-8. As an Aircraft Sheet Metal Specialist, you are responsible for structural repairs but also for the production of sometimes very complex light metal components for historical aircraft.

Areas that play to your strengths

FABRICATION, REPAIR AND ASSEMBLY OF SHEET METAL AND STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS:

You'll carry out repairs and changes to aircraft sheet metal and structural parts.

In accordance with proper manufacturing methods and approved documents, you'll manufacture the aircraft parts and assemblies.

You'll install new and manufactured parts and assemblies on the respective aircraft.

SUPPORTING WORK IN THE FIELD OF AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE:

You'll work with senior technicians and colleagues of the engineering team to design repairs or installations if necessary.

You'll document all of the done repairs and installations according to the respective procedures and use the correct manuals, e.g. aircraft technical manuals, parts catalogs, manufacturing and specification manuals.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

  • Knowledge and skills in the field of light metal and aircraft construction
  • At least one year of experience in sheet metal processing, aircraft construction and manufacturing or similar areas is an advantage
  • Pronounced technical skills
  • Outstanding social skills and teamplayer
  • Positive reliability check according to §134a LFG, which requires a perfect repute
  • Driving license B required
  • German and English (especially “Aviation English”) in written and spoken
