Flying Bulls at the Formula 1
After an 11-year absence, the Formula 1 finally made a welcome return to Spielberg in Austria. Thousands and thousands of fans visited the Red Bull Ring between June 19-22 as Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton and co. started their engines on the fastest track in Austria. In the end, driver Nico Rosberg secured victory.
Plenty of horsepower, howling engines and breathtaking action took place not only on the Spielberg circuit but also up in thesky where the Flying Bulls delivered a spectacular air show. The legendary B-25 J Mitchell, the F4U Corsair, which is particularly fast and maneuverable and one of the most striking fighter planes of the 20th century, as well as the Alpha Jet, another star in the air show circuit – were roaring above the heads of the crowd on Sunday.
World-class motor sports, an exciting entertainment program and mild temperatures made the Formula 1 event a memorable highlight of the year!
